Upon entering the town of Myrtleford on the Great Alpine Road (B500) from the direction of Wangaratta (facing towards Bright).
Turn right at Buffalo River Road (C526) heading towards Buffalo Dam. On each corner you will see a Opportunity Shop, Myrtleford Bakehouse, an accountant and Country Target. **Note your odometer reading**
Drive for about 3½ kilometers, the road bends left around the hill. Just past the bend you will see "Merriang South Road" on the right.
Turn right onto "Merriang South Road" & continue for about 1 ½ kilometres. At the T-junction (on the bend in the road) there is a sign indicating "Merriang Homestead Road" and also a blue sign saying "Klinwara 500m". Both these signs can be a bit difficult to see or may be turned around.
Turn right onto Merriang Homestead Road (gravel road). You will pass a large house on your left with balloons painted on the shed and different coloured water tanks. Continue along this gravel road and on the right hand side you will see the entrance to the "Klinwara" property.
Drive down the long driveway to the second house on the left. This is the reception for Klinwara Cottage. Just past reception on the right hand side you will find Klinwara Cottage.
